The Department of Engineering Technology deals with technological processes of casting, welding, metal forming, plastics and composites processing, and is one of ten departments of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at TUL. In addition to its educational activities and training of technical specialists, it is regarded as an important partner of the industrial sector in the field of applied and contract research, and for several years it has also been successfully operating as a training center for industrial practice.
